Lusk Stays 3rd In 1A Poll As Opportunity Looms

At 5-0, the Lusk football team stayed at #3 in the new WyoPreps Coaches and Media 1A 9-man rankings this week. The top three have remained the same since the start of the season.

The Tigers did earn four first place votes this week, thats more than 2nd place Rocky Mountain.

Over the next two weeks Lusk will get its chance to lay claim to the top spot as they host Rocky Mountain this week before traveling to #1 Southeast next week.

Torrington’s stay at #2 in 2A was short lived after the Blazers fell to unranked Big Horn last week. Torrington now finds themselves at #4, right behind #3 Upton-Sundance, a team they had beaten the week before.

Douglas moved up one slot in the 3A rankings to #4, swapping with Star Valley.
