Former Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez represented his new school, Kansas State, at Big 12 media days on Wednesday and many of the questions asked by the media focused on his time at Nebraska.

Martinez told those in attendance that this team at K-State might be the most talented he’s ever been a part of.

The 5th year Senior that started 39 games for the Big Red said, “I have a lot of love for Nebraska and always will. It’s my alma mater. I mean, shoot, I was there for four years and still have best friends and really close people there.”

He went on to say, “I played there for four years and really felt like I’d done everything that I could and given everything that I could give to Nebraska and that our relationship was over at that point.”

Martinez is expected to be in the lead to start for the Wildcats this season.
