Nebraska Handles Wyoming 52-25 In 6-Man Shootout Posted by Jeremy Anderson Date: July 24, 2020 17 Views Harvard’s Noah Okraska tossed a pair of touchdown passes and Crawford’s Dennis Vogl added a pair of rushing touchdown as Nebraska took down Wyoming 52-25 in the 9th annual Wyoming-Nebraska 6-man shootout in Harrison on Thursday evening. The win closes the series to within 5-4 in favor of the Cowboy state. Nebraska raced out to a 24-0 lead after the first quarter on the back of Okraska’s touchdown passes, including one to Sioux County’s Tommy Watson. Wyoming responded on the legs of Hanna-Elk Mountain’s Connor McGraw to cut the score to 24-6 less than a minute in to the 2nd quarter, but Vogl’s first touchdwn run pushed the lead back out to 24 at 32-6 heading in to the half. Wyoming popped out of the halftime break with back to back scores. The first was a touchdown pass from quarterback Taylor Otte of Little Snake River to Connor McGraw, followed by a McGraw run to close the gap to 32-18 with 4:12 left in the 3rd quarter. Watson started a string of three straight Nebraska rushing touchdowns capped off by Vogl to push the score to 52-18 before McGraw scored his final rushing touchdown of the night for the final margin.
