Nebraska & Wyoming Playoff Football In Full Gear

Playoff football ramps up in the states of Nebraska and Wyoming today.

Nebraska classes B through C2 plus D6 enter the mix after classes A, D1, and D2 kicked things off last week.

Scottsbluff begins their run at a third consecutive Class B championship game appearance by traveling to Aurora, a game Scottsbluff lost in the regular season.

Mitchell and Gothenburg, both of whom shared the same district with Chadron, open the C1 playoffs with road games. Mitchell is the 10th seed at Wahoo and Gothenburg is the 11th seed at Lincoln Christian.

Bridgeport, overcoming the loss of a teammate this season, is at home as the six seed in the C2 playoffs against Hartington Cedar Catholic.

The Panhandle has teams scattered throughout the D6 bracket. Arthur County is the top seed and hosts Pawnee City while 8th seeded Creek Valley entertains Spalding Academy.

Cody-Kilgore is the 6th seed and welcomes first year six man squad Stuart and 2nd seeded Potter-Dix hosts Wallace.

In Wyoming, Douglas is the #1 seed in 3A East and host 3A West #4 Star Valley. Torrington is the top seed in 2A East and plays against Cokeville out of the West.

Lusk is the #2 seed in 1A 9-man East and will play West #3 Greybull.
