The Nebraska School Activities Association released their classifications for all fall sports on Wednesday, except for football which was set back in February.
The Chadron High volleyball team will be the 4th largest in Class C-1 and will be joined by Western Conference foe Sidney, who holds down the top of the class. Gordon-Rushville is dropping down to Class C-2 this season. Crawford, Sioux County, and Hay Springs all hold down their spots in D-2.
The Cardinals are still Class C in Cross Country, and Gordon-Rushville moves back up to Class C after spending last season in Class D. Hay Springs and Crawford remain Class D.
The Chadron softball team will spend it’s 3rd straight season in Class B as will the girls golf team.
Fall practices are set to get underway on August 10th.
