The NSAA released its district assignments on Wednesday for all fall sports excluding football which was released in February.
The Chadron girls softball team, which is dropping down to Class C this season, will compete in the C-10 subdistrict with Chase County, Hershey and Bayard, who is adding softball for the first time this year.
The girls golf district also has a few changes as Chadron dropped to Class C and will compete in district 5 in Kimball. Gordon-Rushville is also in the district.
The C1-12 volleyball subdistrict won’t look much different from the past as the Cards are joined by Bridgeport, Ogallala, Chase County and Hershey.
The three highway 20 schools, Hay Springs, Crawford and Sioux County, join Cody-Kilgore in making up the D2-12 subdistrict in volleyball.
The boy and girls cross country districts don’t have any major changes that impact area schools.
