Chadron State College junior guard Teddy Parham, Jr., was selected by the Omaha World-Herald this week to the newspaper’s annual All-Midlands Team, after helping lead the Eagles to the RMAC Tournament for the first time in nearly a decade, in the 2020-21 season.

In addition, junior forward Jacob Jefferson was listed in the publication’s honorable mention.

Parham led the Eagles in total points, total rebounds, steals, and field goals made. His 14.8 points per game were the third-most of any Nebraska player in NCAA Division II, and second on the team only to teammate Jefferson, who played only seven games due to injury. The second half of Parham’s season included games of 24, 32, and 28 points, and he added five steals in the Eagles’ home finale. He shot 43.3 percent from the field, and 40.7 percent from the three-point line, for the year.

Jefferson’s 15.4 points per game were second in the state only to All-Midlands captain Jordan Janssen, who managed an even 16. Jefferson shot a team-best 61.6 percent from the field and hit 9-of-18 from three.

The other members of the team were Nate Mohr and Alec Millender of Wayne, and Austin Luger of Nebraska-Kearney.
