Rams Roll Wildcats

After earning a win by forfeit from Edgemont, Crawford took the field for the first time this season Friday, rolling over the Banner County Wildcats 75-7.

Hayes Frahm and Roman Metz had three touchdowns each in the rout. Freshman kicker Leo Drinkwalter also found the end zone once and tacked on four extra points with his leg. Wyatt Brady added a rushing touchdown as well.

The Rams tallied 255 yards on the ground, led by freshman Paden Morava who had a 100-yard game on 10 carries. Frahm scrambled for 74 yards on two carries, and Brady had five carries for 43 yards. Crawford added another 34 yards on a touchdown pass to Metz.

Defensively, the Rams picked off the Wildcats four times, with Brady, Rhett Flack, Frahm and Metz each nabbing an interception. Crawford also recovered five fumbles by the Wildcats – two by Levi Van Beek and one each by Brady, Drinkwalter and Kolby Welling. Payton Swanson led the Rams with four solo tackles and assisted on another two. The Rams had 33 tackles in the contest.
