The Chadron High girls golf team took runner-up honors with a 449 at the Bayard Invite on Thursday. The meet also doubled as the Western Trails Conference championships.
Maralee Rischling had the round of the day with a 101, good enough for 5th place.
The Gordon-Rushviile duo of Kyley Coomes and Tessa Hurlburt also landed top 10 medals.
Coomes shot a round of 110 for 7th while Hurlburt dropped a 111 for 9th.
Each one moved up a spot in the WTC individual standings and were joined by teammate Tatiana Higgins who was 10th.
Mitchell took the team titles all-around with a 409. Bridgeport was the runner-up of the WTC meet with a 579.
For the rest of the Cardinals, Jackson Smith shot a 114. Gracie Jones had a 116, and Raeligh Bridges carded a 118.
Brendilou Armstrong brought up the back with a 130.
Chadron is back on the course Tuesday at Scottsbluff Country Club for the Scottsbluff Invite.
