Rivalry Night: Chadron Goes To Alliance, Crawford Hosts Sioux County


We have a pair of rivalries on tap as we kick off week #7 off the high school football season.

Chadron will take the show on the road and put their 6-0 record up against winless Alliance.

The Cardinals have won two straight against the Dawgs, the last loss at home in 2018.

Kickoff is at 7:00 pm tonight on KCSR and Chadrad.com with the Butler Ag Equipment preview show starting at 6:30.

— Crawford hosts Sioux County tonight in a meeting of teams needing a win to keep playoff hopes alive.

The Rams were roughed up at Hay Springs last week and may have a thin roster tonight while Sioux County saw their opponent forfeit.

— Hay Springs has a daunting road challenge at undefeated and 2nd ranked Potter-Dix.

Hay Springs has scored more than 50 points in each of the last three games. The Yotes are averaging over 60 a game.

Action begins at 7:00 pm.

— Gordon-Rushville will have its four game winning streak tested tonight as they welcome North Platte St. Pat’s.

The Mustangs are 4-2 after an 0-2 start. The Irish have remained fairly untested outside of a 26-22 loss to Hastings St. Cecilia.

It’s an early kickoff at 2:00 pm this afternoon.

— Lusk has a Wyoming 9-man top 5 showdown tonight at Rocky Mountain.

The Tigers have reeled off three victories in a row after opening the year with a road loss at now top ranked Pine Bluffs.

Kickoff is at 6:00 pm.
