The Niobrara County golf team was busy over the weekend with a pair of meets.
The Tiger boys started off at the Sundance Invite on Friday before the boys and girls finished off with the Moorcroft Invite on Saturday.
Camden Rose and Corey Bruegger had top 10 finishes in Sundance. Rose shot a round of 99 to tie for 5th place. Bruegger was two strokes behind with a 101 to take 7th.
Niobrara County was 3rd in the team standings with a 439. Big Horn won both the team and individual titles. The Rams carded a 378 as a team while Hayden Tellez fired a 79 to win by 15 strokes.
In a field that was almost identical to Friday’s, Rose was the only top 10 boys medalist with a round of 93, good enough for 4th.
Sierra Eaton was just inside the top 10 for the Lady Tigers after she had a round of 112 for 9th.
Upton took the girls team and individual championships while the Big Horn boys were four strokes better than Tongue River.
