Scottsbluff Blanks Chadron In Cardinals Home Finale

The Chadron High softball team lost their home finale on Tuesday night 15-0 to Scottsbluff in 4 innings.

The loss drops the Cardinals to 11-13 on the season with just two regular season contests left this week before the postseason starts on Monday.

Both teams played a scoreless first inning, but 3, 7, and 5 runs over the next three from the Bearcats carried them to their third win over Chadron this season.

Scottsbluff outhit Chadron 10-4, and the Cards committed an uncharacteristic 5 errors on the night.

Aubrey Milburn, Josslyn Pourier, and Josie Downing all went perfect at the plate to account for all four of the Cardinal hits.

Chadron will travel to Imperial on Saturday for a triangular with Alliance and Chase County to round out the regular season.
