A pair of Huskers were taken in the MLB Draft on Monday.
Nebraska All-American Spencer Schwellenbach was selected in the 3rd round, 59th overall, to the Atlanta Braves.
All-Big Ten Pitcher Cade Povich went to the Minnesota Twins in the late portions of the 3rd round at 98th.
Povich and Schwellenbach are the first Husker teammates to be taken in the first three rounds of the MLB Draft since 2005 when Alex Gordon was the No. 2 overall pick by Kansas City and Brian Duensing was selected in the third round by Minnesota.
