The Sioux County Lady Warriors put together four solid quarters of action to defeat the Edgemont Moguls Saturday and improve to 7-2 on the year.

The early minutes of the contest were a back-and-forth affair, but the Warriors took control before the first quarter was out for a five-point advantage. They immediately set out to strengthen their lead in the second quarter when Kodie Rempp hit a trey and drew a foul for a four-point play and added a layup soon after. The Warriors netted 18, including 11 by Rempp, in the second quarter for a 34-18 lead at half-time. Sioux County’s Rachel Krein chipped in seven of the team’s 16 third quarter points, and the Warriors capped the game with another 14 points, including treys by Layla McCoy and Rempp.
