Harrison House

As people from around the world have once again become interested in “The West” over the last few years, the need for a more clear definition between reproduction and the real deal has become apparent. With that in mind, it doesn’t take long for either the casual eye or the western historian to see that the Harrison House Hotel in Harrison, Nebraska is the real deal.

Located on the south end of town across from a grassy knoll where the train depot once sat, Syd Meidell took over as owner-operator in July of 2018 and has set to work restoring the grand Hotel. Guests from all over are treated to private rooms with a classic shared restroom. Room guests are treated to a morning breakfast while town folk and ranchers enjoy a weekly Sunday Brunch, by reservation.

We encourage you to check out the Harrison House when family comes to visit. Rooms start at $60.00. The stories and hospitality are simply included. It is also worth mentioning that Syd will serve you even if you’ve forgotten to take off your spurs, but please do as they are damn hard on the chair legs. 308-665-5199.
