Deja Andersen

Deja joined Chadrad Communications in 2014 as our Broadcast Traffic Director. She resides in Chadron with her husband Clay who works at West Plains, daughters Nina and Lana and son Perrin. Deja attended Columbus Community College in Columbus, OH and Chadron State College. As a family they enjoy gardening, fishing, camping and hiking.


Mike Kesselring

Mike & his wife, Linda, originally from Minnesota, Montana & South Dakota, have called Sioux County home for many years now & currently live in Harrison, Nebraska. Mike is a veteran, & upon discharge, he attended Mankato State College in Minnesota. The Kesselrings have been a part of NW Nebraska Tourism for over 20 years with Mike joining the Chadrad Communications, KCSR/KBPY &, Sales & Promotions Dept. in early 2019. Although relatively new to radio sales, Mike has many years of experience in both sales & promotions in a variety of venues as an owner & entrepreneur.

Bailee Lake

Bailee is our newest member, she joined us in the spring of 2022. She is currently attending Chadron State College and is majoring in marketing and minoring in animal science. Bailee grew up on a small family ranch and enjoys working cows and riding horses. In her free time you can find her playing golf, hanging out with friends, or spending time with her dog Denim.


John Axtell

John can admit to being the longest and second- longest serving news director in KCSR history. His first stint from Jan 1987-July 1991 ended when the station and KQSK were sold to different owners and he stayed with KQSK (with the blessings of Dennis and Kathi). John returned April 1, 2015, and is now looking forward to the 50th anniversary in less than 2 years of his first time on the air Jan 17, 1972, at his college radio station in Oregon.


Jeremy Anderson

Jeremy has been a part of the KCSR/KBPY staff since November of 2012. He first served as the station’s News Director before shifting to the Sports Director position in the spring of 2014. He spends a lot of his time on the golf course and couch coaching the Husker football team during the fall. You can find him chasing his two daughters, Mackenzie and Annica, around at their various activities alongside with his wife, Genie.

Board Operator

Brad Moore

Brad joined the KCSR family back in 2004, while attending college, with an internship and since then has been everything from the voice of overnights to board operator for high school and NFL games. When he isn’t working his full-time job with SWIRE Coca-Cola or in the control room at KCSR/KBPY. Brad enjoys hanging out with his wife Elisa, and supporting the Husker football team! GBR!
