The DOVES Program in Chadron offers survivors of sexual or domestic violence the opportunity to contribute their artwork to the ‘Tell Me Your Story’ art exhibit being held November 17th–December 15th at Chadron State College.
We have canvases available for free at our office for any survivor who wishes to participate. Our office address is 803 E 3rd ST Suite 5 in Chadron, NE. These artworks serve as a powerful means of expressing survivors’ emotions and reclaiming their own narratives regarding their experiences. The option of anonymity is available to survivors who wish to remain unidentified. The deadline to turn in art work is November 14th.
Local artwork can either be returned to the artists or, if they prefer, showcased on a dedicated survivor artwork wall within our Chadron office. For more information, please call us at 308-436-2787.
