Funeral services for 22-year old Terrance “T-Love” Waters are Monday, Feb 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Advent Chapel in Calico Community, SD, with Sister Barb Bogenschutz officiating and traditional Lakota services by Ms Darla Black

Burial is at the Tobacco Family Cemetery in the Calico Community

A two-night wake service starts Saturday, Jan 30, 2021 at 2:00 PM, also at the Advent Chapel in Calico 

Terrance Cole Waters was born on June 18, 1998 in Pine Ridge, SD to Alan Waters, Sr. and Lisa Marie Tobacco and was raised by his adopted parents, Kerry Brave Heart and Michael Warrior.  Terrance made his journey to the Spirit World on January 23, 2021 near Pine Ridge, SD.

Terrance was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend.   He graduated from Pine Ridge High School in 2017 and worked at Prairie Wind Bingo for two years.  

Terrance loved to game it on his X-box and loved to play around with his nieces and nephews.  Everyone enjoyed his company and he was loved by all. 

He will be missed by many, especially his adopted mother. “I will always cherish the memories I have of you Sonny Boy!”  Love, Mom (Kerry Brave Heart)

Terrance is survived by his grandparents, Regina “Donut” Tobacco of Chadron, NE, Karyn Tobacco of Rushville, NE, Cyril Warrior, and Linn Cross Dog, Sr.; brothers, AJ and Michael Waters; sisters, Lindsay Tobacco, Allison Tobacco, Racqual Waters, Jenna Waters, and Felicia Warrior; aunts, Heather Poor Bear, Shelly (Mack) Goings, Nona Warrior, Tessa Dreamer, Wanda Waters, Harriette Twiss, Sherol Waters, Violet Waters, and Pasquerita (Ten Fingers) Tobacco; uncles, Wayland Tobacco, Dale “DJ” Warrior, Chad Warrior, Harold “Hotch” Tobacco, Curtis Tobacco, Cory Tobacco, Aaron Jude Dreamer, Charlie Waters, Sr., John Waters, and Levi Two Dogs, Jr..

Terrance was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Marie Tobacco; father, Alan S. Waters, Sr.; grandparents, Harold Blue Thunder, Bernadette Tobacco, Joseph H. “Kadoke” Waters, and Dorothy C. (Ten Fingers) Waters; uncles, Dale “Tuffy” Catches, Joseph “Joe Gun” Catches, and Jesse Dean Warrior; and aunt, Cora Warrior.

Pallbearers will be Kaden Yellow Horse, Sonny Cross Dog, Christopher Two Dogs, Harold “Buddy” Tobacco, Cobra Lloyd, Larry New Holy, Marino Waters, and Daniel Nelson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Prairie Wind Cassino Bingo Workers, Tobacco Families, Waters Families, Cross Dog Families, Ben Leonard, Timothy Poor Bear, Morgan Nava, and All Friends & Relatives.
