Tessa Wallery

A Visitation-Celebration of Life for 39-year old Tessa Wallery will be held Sat, May 21, 2022, from 2:00-6:00 at the Oglala Powwow Grounds in Oglala, SD, with Donovan Youngman officiating.

There will be a meal served.

Cremation will follow the services.

Tessa Jo Wallery was born on May 14, 1982 in Rapid City, SD, to Gary Wallery and Darlene Little Guthmiller.   Tessa struggled with diabetes and lost that battle on May 13, 2022 when her body could no longer sustain her earthly life.

Tessa watches over her four children, Noah, Destiny, Liberty, and Haley from the Spirit World.  She is now with her mother and father, Gary and Darlene, and those who preceded her to the Spirit World. 

Tessa grew up in Grafton, ND, but moved to Pembina where she graduated in 2001 from Pembina North Border High School. She enjoyed playing clarinet in band throughout high school. 

Tessa remained in North Dakota working as a server and telemarketer for various companies until 2018, when she moved to Moorhead, MN.

Tessa loved crafting, cooking, scrapbooking, concerts, shopping, walks, reading and most of all loved doing things with her kids. Family events and spending time with her children were very important to her.

Tessa enjoyed the unique experience of public transportation and loved sightseeing while riding the bus. She loved to travel and go on road trips.  

Tessa had a bubbly personality and was a very kind hearted, honest person who understood the difficulties of others and helped them when she was able.

Tessa journeys ahead of her daughters, Haley, Destiny, and Liberty; son, Noah; siblings, Rick Little Guthmiller, Kendra Alameda, Ryan Wallery, and Jessie Little; grandmother, Alice Wallery; and many Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins.

Tessa was preceded in death by her father, Gary Wallery; mother, Darlene Little; grandfather, Victor Wallery; uncle, Duane Wallery; grandmother, Grace Patton-Little; grandfather, Thomas Little; and uncle, Lionel Little.

Pallbearers will be Rick Guthmiller, Noah Wallery, Wayne Guthmiller, Lance Hanson, Jr., Mike Little, and Deja Guthmiller.

Honorary pallbearers will be daughters; Haley, Destiny, & Liberty, and All Family & Friends.

Arrangements entrusted with Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD
