Thomas Talton Patton, Sr. was born on May 2, 1957 in Pine Ridge, SD to Owen Patton, Sr. and Sara Hawk-Forney. Thomas made his journey to the Spirit World on November 23, 2024 near Oglala, SD.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Louella Youngman; children, Thomas Talton Patton, Jr. and Melissa Patton; step-father, Darold Forney; Uncle, Lambert (Mary Lou) Hawk, Sr.; grandchildren, Nicole Patton, Shailee Patton, Eli Patton, Tyras Navarro, Avianna Navarro, Kennely Navarro, and Nova Navarro; step-children, Michael Sierra Taila Sierra, Dustin Sierra, Jesse Sierra, Laura Sierra, Pehin Sierra, Kitana Brave, Donald Brave, Jacob Brave, Kelly Brave, Jackson Brave, Darrell Alford, Travis Alford, and Regina Alford; and siblings, Donald Patton of San Diego, CA, Sandy (Scott) Mabin of Oglala, SD, Madonna (Michael) Shepherd of Guernsey, WY, Cheryl (Archie) Two Eagle, Mitzi (Coy) Big Crow, Paul (Missie) Forney, and Irene (Raymond) Mabin all of Oglala, SD. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Owen Patton, Sr. and Sara Hawk-Forney; brothers, Owen Patton, Jr., Eldon Forney, and Troy Mabin; sister, Christian Patton; grandparents, Talton & Jenny Hawk; aunts & uncles, Joe Hawk, Phoebe Thunder Horse, and Tillie White, Steve Hawk; and niece, Crimson Mabin.
