Threat To Release Personal Information And Nude Photo Brings Prison

Loading

An Omaha-area man is headed to prison for trying to coerce a candidate for the legislature in 2018 to drop out by threatening to release personal information and a nude photo of the candidate’s wife – his ex-wife.

A 48-year-old Dennis Sryniawski of Bellevue was given a year and a day in prison for his June conviction for cyberstalking.

FBI investigators determined that Sryniawski sent threatening and sexually explicit emails to Jeff Parris of La Vista in October 2018 in an effort to get him to quit the race.

Parris’ wife was married to Sryniawski for two years about 25 years ago.Â
