It was a welcomed site on Wednesday afternoon as thundershowers passed over portions of Northwest Nebraska.
Most parts of Northwest Nebraska, Southwest South Dakota, and Southeast Wyoming have been in some form of drought since last summer, but snow and rain over the past month have helped alleviate conditions.
The National Weather Service in Cheyenne says that some thunderstorms may develop and produce small hail and winds up to 40-50 mph in some areas.
According to the latest seven day forecast from the National Weather Service, chances of rain exist everyday for the next week.
