Tough, Talkative Aqib Talib Retires After 12-Year NFL Career

Five-time Pro Bowl cornerback Aqib Talib has announced his retirement.

The 34-year-old Talib revealed he had an offer to rejoin the New England Patriots to cover tight ends. But he said he ultimately decided he didn’t want to be chasing around the likes of Travis Kelce, Noah Fant and Darren Waller.

He’s going to focus on his podcast instead and try to get into broadcasting because football is still in his blood.

Talib won a Super Bowl with the Broncos. He also played with the Rams.
