Tuesday Is Primary Election Day In Wyoming

Tuesday is primary election day in Wyoming with one of the state’s two U-S Senate seats and its lone House seat on the ballot.

Incumbent Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney has one little-known opponent as she seeks a 3rd term while her predecessor, Cynthia Lummis, has come out of retirement to run for the seat of retiring GOP Senator Mike Enzi.

Lummis is one of 10 candidates in the Republican primary, but she’s raised more money than all of them and the Democrats running combined.

Democrats seeking the Senate seat include University of Wyoming professor Merav Ben-David, self-described socialist Yana Ludwig and think tank vice president Nathan Wendt while the party hopefuls in the House race include Global IndWYous Council Vice President Lynnette Grey Bull and overseas educator Carl Beach.
