The University of Nebraska-Lincoln is playing hardball with those who don’t follow its COVID-19 rules.
The school has suspended six sorority and fraternity chapters because photos and videos on social media showed their students violating local public health and university policies.
UNL administrators acted after several Greek houses hosted large gatherings Monday, which was bid day for several sororities. Most attendees were not wearing face coverings or observing social distancing guidelines.
The chapters who’ve been suspended are Alpha Omicron Phi, Alpha Xi Delta, Delta Gamma, Kappa Alpha Theta, Phi Delta Theta, and Sigma Phi Epsilon.
