US Attorney Backs Northern Arapaho Goals In Meth Crisis

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) – U.S. Attorney for Wyoming Mark Klaassen has announced support for the goals set by the Northern Arapaho Tribe to stop a worsening methamphetamine crisis.

The Northern Arapaho plan to form a task force following a Feb. 25 emergency declaration over the abuse and distribution of methamphetamine on the Wind River Indian Reservation in central Wyoming.

Klaassen says his office is committed to working with tribal members to improve their collective efforts to combat drug crime on the Wind River reservation.
