Victim’s Identity Released In Fatal I-90 Crash

SPEARFISH, S.D. (AP) – The South Dakota Highway Patrol has released the identity of the driver killed Thursday morning in a one-vehicle rollover on Interstate 90 near Spearfish.

39-year old Benjamin Yackley of Spearfish was alone in his pickup in the 7:45 crash. The Highway Patrol says Yackley was westbound about 8-miles east of Spearfish when he went off the road to the right.

The pickup collided with a guardrail and went in the north ditch, where it tipped and rolled. Yackley, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and later died at a Spearfish hospital.
