Vincent Campbell

Funeral services for 36-year old Vincent Campbell are Tues, Dec 14, 2021 at 10:00 at the Little Wound House of Prayer in Kyle, SD, with Brother Brock Davis of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints officiating and traditional Lakota services by Mr Ty Lunderman 

Burial will follow at 12:30 at the Lakota Freedom Veterans Cemetery, Kyle.

A one-night wake service starts Mon, Dec 13, at 1:00, also at the Little Wound House of Prayer in Kyle. 

Vincent Ronald Campbell “Wakinyan Maka Mani” was born on May 10, 1985 to Roger Campbell, Sr. and Phyllis (Thunder Bull) Campbell. Vincent made his journey to the Spirit World on December 5, 2021 at the Mayo Clinic of St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN.

Vincent is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Giago) Campbell; parents, Phyllis Grace (Thunder Bull) Campbell and Roger Daniel Campbell, Sr.; sons, Devon Hayden Campbell, Gabriel Campbell, and Hayden Campbell; siblings, Roger Adelord Campbell, Jr., Nick Campbell, Martin Thunder Hawk, Francis Thunder Hawk, and Christopher Campbell; aunts, Susan Big Crow and Dorothy Thunder Bull; and cousin, William “Billy” Gourd.

Vincent was preceded in death by his brother, Cody Campbell; grandparents, Vincent & Ella Thunder Bull, and Rev. Ronald & Marlene Campbell; aunts, Amanda Christensen, Cora Bird Hat, Faye Lone Hill, Bernadine May, Linda Means, and Rose White Face; uncles, Earl, Cecil, & Malcolm Thunder Bull, Clinton Bird Hat, Howard White Face, and Everett Lone Hill; and cousins, Hans Christensen, Wallace Thunder Bull, Tamera Ashley, Edna Guttierz, Dominique Big Crow, and Duane Thunder Bull.

Pallbearers will be Zack Richards, Pete Hatten, Cameron Lafferty, Eugene Giago, James Giago, Mahpiya Little Sky, and Dawson Gourd.
