Vincent Paul “Chepa” Black Feather Jr “Tatanka”was born on September 5, 1973 in Pine Ridge, SD to Vincent Black Feather, Sr. and Shirley Eagle Hawk. Chepa made his journey to the Spirit World on June 5, 2020 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Vincent, Jr. is survived by his father, Vincent Black Feather, Sr.; brothers, Virgil Black Feather and Virone “Ducky” Black Feather; sisters, Shary Lynn Black Feather, Marianne Black Feather, Troylynn Black Feather, and Melinda Black Feather.
Vincent, Jr. was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Eagle Hawk-Bell; brothers, Dusty Black Feather, Melvin Black Feather, Al Fernando Black Feather, Ronny Black Feather, and Leo Black Feather; sister, Sherry Black Feather; uncles, Victor Wounded, Coby Iron Horse, and Levi Wounded; aunt, Karen Wounded; grandfather, Noah Wounded; and grandmothers, Bertha and Kate Brown Ear Horse.
Pallbearer will be Virgil Black Feather.
Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.
