Burial services will be at the Holy Rosary Mission Catholic Cemetery, Pine Ridge, SD
A one-night wake service starts Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at noon, also at the Standing Bear residence in Pine Ridge.
Wanda Ethelene Standing Bear was born on November 8, 1937 in Pine Ridge, SD to Oliver Standing Bear and Margaret (Goes In Center) Standing Bear. Wanda made her journey to the Spirit World on September 2, 2020 at the Pine Ridge I.H.S. Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.
Wanda is survived by her daughters, Alvina White Bull, Doreen White Bull, Lisa White Bull, and Amanda Standing Bear; son, Melvin White Bull, Jr.; grandchildren, Ferris White Bull, Jr., Lawrence Vigil, Anna White Bull, Jeannie Lone Hill, Jeremy Ladd, Avena White Bull, and Zaniya White Bull; and 17 great grandchildren.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver & Margaret Standing Bear; siblings, Elaine Standing Bear, Goldie Bad Wound, Stanley Standing Bear, and Howard Standing Bear; sons, Ferris & Keith White Bull; and granddaughter, Marsha Lynn White Bull.
Pallbearers will be Ferris White Bull, Jr., Lawrence Vigil, Jeremy Ladd, Ferris White Bull III, Duane Stover, Christopher Standing Bear, Stanley Standing Bear, and Michael Granillo.
