Funeral Services for Warren Scherbarth will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020, at 10:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church in Hay Springs, NE, with Pastor Allan Wiebschke officiating.
Visitation will be on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at 7:00 PM at Zion Lutheran Church in Hay Springs.
Burial will be at the Hay Springs City Cemetery.

Warren Edwin Scherbarth was born September 30, 1931, in Sheridan County, NE He passed away on June 28, 2020 at Pioneer Manor in Hay Springs at the age of 88 years and 9 months.
Warren was born to Richard C. and Evelyn E. (Philips) Scherbarth and grew up on the farm west of Hay Springs, where he resided until his health declined.
Warren grew up on this farm helping his parents and working out at neighboring farms. He went to country school until eighth grade, then to Hay Springs High School, graduating in 1949.
Warren moved to Torrington, WY, to work at the Holly Sugar Factory, and married Betty Lou Glee on September 23, 1950 in Torrington. They remained married until her death 65 years later.
To this union of marriage were born six children: Robert, Suzan Scherbarth Smith, Stephen, Brian, Janene Scherbarth Odell, and Craig.
The family moved back to the Hay Springs area and Warren worked on neighboring farms until they finally settled west of Hay Springs on the home place.
Warren was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, where he and Betty attended and raised their children. His lifelong interests included farming, raising Hereford cattle, and helping neighbors.
Warren was preceded in death by his wife Betty, his parents, 2 brothers, 4 sisters, 1 grandson, and 1 great granddaughter.
He is survived by his children: Robert (Nancy Barth) Scherbarth of Alliance, Suzan (Stuart) Smith of Brady, NE, Stephan Scherbarth of Aurora, CO, Brian Scherbarth of Casper, WY, Janene (Norman) Odell of Alliance, Craig (Cherly) Scherbarth of Elsie, NE, Sisters Janice (Emmett) Main of Delta, CO; Emily Hunter of Albuquerque, NM; Brother Allen (Ruth Ann) Scherbarth of Rushville, NE; 16 grand children and 26 great grandchildren.
