Camp out under the stars, while you discover the beauty of God through nature. Learn how to cook over an open fire, use a compass, and set up your campsite. You will also master camping etiquette, tracking animal prints, and backpacking. Get ready to create memories that will last a lifetime, through discovery, hiking, worship, skill building, and friendship.

Stars & Stripes Week

Are you ready for a traditional week of summer camp with a patriotic spin? Then this is the week for you! Along with our classic camp activities including archery, crafts, nightly campfires, Bible Studies, worship, and a trip down our famous super slide; you will embark on a week full of patriotic fun that you will not want to miss! Come see our creative way to celebrate with mentos and soda or join the fun with an all-American game of baseball (hot dogs and popcorn included!)

Trail Trotters

All tenderfoots welcome! You can learn a lot about yourself atop the saddle of a 1200-pound horse. This camp is intended for beginner riders who are looking to grow in faith while learning the basics of horse riding, grooming and care. Then you will be ready for the rugged trails of the Chadron State Park. Campers will take 1-2 rides during their time here at camp. This week will also include a talk on horse care and ministry by Pastor Paul Smith. All this, plus a ton of activities at Camp Norwesca, including team building, nightly campfires, crafts, Bible Studies, Worship and so much more. So, put your spurs on and mount up for a great week, partner!
