Funeral services for 65-year old William Marshall Sr, which were scheduled for Wed, Nov 11, have been moved back a day to Thurs, Nov 13, 2020 but still at 2:00 PM at the Sharp’s Corner Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Hadden officiating and traditional Lakota services by Mr David Lays Bad
Burial services are at the Thunder Hawk Family Cemetery in Porcupine
Visitation will precede the services from 10:00 – 2:00, also at the Sharp’s Corner Baptist Church.
William E. Marshall, Sr. was born on October 14, 1955 in Pine Ridge, SD to Joel Marshall and Martha Trouble In Front. William, Sr. made his journey to the Spirit World on November 3, 2020 at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD.
William, Sr. is survived by his children, William E. Marshall, Jr., Albert Esau Marshall, Sr., and Lisa A. Marshall; longtime very special friend, Bernadette Rita Thunder Hawk; and step-children, Robert Shaw, Ellen Two Crow, Vincent Thunder Hawk, Edward Jordan, Joey Yankton, Martin Standing Soldier, Jr., and Mary Standing Soldier.
William, Sr. was preceded in death by his parents, Joel Esau Marshall and Martha Trouble In Front; daughter, Baby Girl Thunder Hawk; brothers, Robert, Richard, Eldon, Eli, and Stephen Marshall; and sister, Shirley Marshall.
Pallbearers will be Delane Iron Boy, Simon Thunder Hawk, Timothy Thunder Hawk, Derek Richards, Matt Nawizi, Clayton Jealous of Him, and Tyrone Marshall.
Honorary pallbearers will be Thunder Hawk Tiospaye, Jealous of Him Tiospaye, Michael Marshall, Joel Marshall, Jacob Marshall, Norah Marshall, Lois Thunder Hawk (Marshall), Melinda Marshall, All Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren, and all Relatives & Friends.
