Wilma Joyce Good Voice Elk was born on February 20, 1950 in Pine Ridge, SD to William Good Voice Elk, Sr. and Rosemary (Brings Him Back) Good Voice Elk. Wilma made her journey to the Spirit World on January 10, 2022 at the I.H.S. Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.
Wilma is survived by her husband, John Elk Boy; daughters, Glenda Kills Crow Indian (Simental), Kachina Walks Out, and Rachel Good Voice Elk; sons, Samuel High Hawk and Mitchell High Hawk, Jr.; siblings, Grace Good Voice Elk, Antoinette Hunter, Stanley Good Voice Elk, Sr., Charles Good Voice Elk, Sr., Monique Crawford and Delora Walks Out; and grandchildren, Neela Kills Crow Indian, Dre-Sean Simental, Mario Simental, Jr., Josselyn High Hawk, Joy’vae Simental and Aninna Simental.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, William Good Voice Elk, Sr. and Rosemary (Brings Him Back) Good Voice Elk; brother, William Good Voice Elk, Jr.; sister, Delma Good Voice Elk; and niece, Danielle Good Voice Elk.
Pallbearers will be Nate Hawk Wing, Mario Simental, Sr., Chris lone Elk, Emilio Walks Out, Stanley Good Voice Elk, Jr., Mitchell High Hawk, Jr., Garrett Piper, Samuel High Hawk, Lyndon Good Voice Elk and Bow Good Voice Elk.
