Here are the current weather event impact highlights:Temperatures will drop 50 to 70 degrees behind an anomalously strong cold front for this time of year Tonight into Tuesday morning. Elevated impact level due to early season weather event.Precipitation will start out as rain, and quickly turn into snow across most locations overnight. Widespread snowfall is expected above 4000 feet in elevation.Heavy snow accumulations above 5500 feet and travel impacts Tuesday morning likely. 1-3″ across NE Panhandle below 4000 feet. 4-8″ Across Wyoming High Plains, 6-12″ across mountain zones with localized higher amounts.Cold overnight temperatures both Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. Temperatures will dive down from single digits to the teens Wednesday morning. Sub zero wind chills possible also. May need to protect area livestock, gardens, and crops. This will end the growing season.
