  • Hazardous travel conditions likely Saturday night through Sunday night with moderate snowfall and blowing snow resulting in slick and icy roads.
  • Temperatures quickly falling Saturday afternoon and evening. Very cold on Sunday (for this time of year) with snow. 
  • Widespread 4 to 7 inches of snow possible, with up to a foot for the mountains

Hazards: Widespread snowfall. Total snowfall accumulations will generally
range from 4 to 7 inches in the plains of Wyoming and Nebraska, with 6 to 12 inches possible in the mountains. Gusty winds will result in blowing snow.

Timing & Duration: Late Saturday afternoon through Monday morning.

Impacts: Hazardous road conditions with slick and icy roads due to snowfall along with reduced visibility with falling and blowing snow.

Hazards: Arctic air mass will result in cold afternoon and overnight
temperatures, especially where significant snow falls. Sub-zero wind chills approaching -35°F in spots is also expected.

Timing & Duration: Saturday afternoon through Tuesday morning.

Impacts: Very cold temperatures and wind chills. May need to protect area
livestock and avoid prolonged outdoor exposure.
