An outgoing Wyoming Republican state representative says he is organizing a protest to urge Gov. Mark Gordon, a fellow Republican, to discontinue coronavirus health restrictions that are set to expire on Jan. 8.
Republican Scott Clem says he plans on marching at the State Capitol next Monday to protest the “tyranny” of the governor and his public health orders meant to reduce the spread of the coronavirus.
Wyoming’s Republican Party leadership says it has no role in organizing the protest, but has promoted the event on its Facebook page.
