Burial is at St Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Hisle, SD
A one-night wake service starts Friday, October 22, at 3:00 also at the Martin Activity Center in Martin, SD.
Yolanda Rose Standing Soldier “Wawokiye Wi” was born on May 25, 1992 in Pine Ridge, SD to Richard Standing Soldier and Francine Martinez. Yolanda made her journey to the Spirit World on October 12, 2021 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.
Yolanda is survived by her son, Adrian Thomas; mother, Francine Martinez; father, Richard Standing Soldier; and brothers, Joseph Standing Soldier and Nicholas DuBray.
Yolanda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert & Delores Standing Soldier; and uncles, Michael Standing Soldier, Timothy Standing Soldier, Robert “Arnold” Standing Soldier and Frank Joseph Standing Soldier.
Pallbearers will be All of Yolanda’s Cousins.
Honorary pallbearers will be All Friends & Relatives.
