18 Year Old Alliance Man after DUI Hit and Run

An 18 year old Alliance man has been arrested following a DUI hit and run early Sunday morning.

The Alliance Police Department said in a release that a little after 2am officers received a report of a motor vehicle accident near the 1200 block of Hammond Lane. At the time of the accident the Alliance Police Department was on scene of a separate DUI related accident and requested the Nebraska State Patrol to respond. 

A trooper from the Nebraska State Patrol responded and located a vehicle with significant front-end damage. After a short investigation the trooper arrested the male driver for driving under the influence. 

At around 3am Alliance dispatch received a report of a residence that appeared to have been struck by a motor vehicle. Officers responded and observed significant damage along with a large amount of debris consistent with the vehicle located by the Nebraska State Patrol. A fluid trail was also identified and traced back to the vehicle involved in the earlier contact.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as 18 year old William Seebohm was booked into the Box Butte County Jail on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, wilful reckless driving, minor in possession, leaving the scene of an accident and criminal mischief.

No one was injured as a result of the incident.
