An Edgemont man and 2 Rapid City residents were arrested in Wisconsin Saturday for allegedly kidnapping an Indiana girl.
27-year old Zachary Delozier of Edgemont and 23-year Sara Gaudino and 24-year old Isaiah Schryvers, both of Rapid City, are being held in the Iowa County, WI, jail on kidnapping charges.
      A Silver Alert had been issued in Indiana earlier in the day when the girl went missing. A white van with one or 2 men inside that was spotted in the area about the same time was included in the Alert.
Later in the day, law enforcement was tipped that a van matching the description was at a Wisconsin convenience store.
Police officers and sheriff’s deputies were able to stop the vehicle on a highway where they rescued the girl and arrested the three South Dakotans. The trio will more than likely be extradited to Indiana to face the kidnapping charges.
Police did not release a motive for the kidnapping, but the circumstances are similar to those often seen in child custody disputes.
