3 State Track Placers For Gordon-Rushville; Rest Of NW Hwy 20 Schools Shut Out

        Northern Panhandle schools finished the state track meets with just 3 medals, all in Class C by girls from Gordon-Rushville.

       Saturday, Tyrah American Horse was 7th in the 1600 while McKinley Grover, who finished 5th Friday in the discus, placed 4th in the shot put with a season-best 40-2-½,  missing 3rd by a quarter inch. Bridgeport’s Grace Dean was 5th behind Grover in 5th

       In Class D, none of the 8 Northern Panhandle athletes finished higher than 20th on Saturday.

       For Hay Springs, Gage Mintken was 20th in the LJ, Parker Wellnitz and Mason Albrecht placed 21st and 23rd in the boys 3200, and Alaina Raymer was 23rd the TJ

     Crawford’s Taylor Homan and Kiera Brennan each placed 21st in the boys and girls 800, respectively, while Keslyn Vogel finished 23rd in the girls 300 hurdles.  Sioux County’s Victoria Turbiville was 24th the girls shot put
