     The deadline for entries in this Sunday’s Chadron Kiwanis Stars of Tomorrow Talent Show for youth kindergarten through high school is Monday night at 6:00.
Show director Duane Gardner says entries can be dropped off at Home Haven Furniture and Appliance, faxed to the store at 308-432-5538, or emailed to him – duane@homehaven.net.
There is no entry fee and both individuals and small groups can enter. Acts should last no more than about 6-minutes.
Competition is in 4 age divisions: K-3rd grade and grades 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12 with trophies to the top 3 finishers in each.
The 1st-place winner in the senior division, Division IV, also received a $150 scholarship and the right to represent the Chadron Kiwanis Club at the district contest in northeast Colorado later this spring.
Last year’s Stars of Tomorrow drew 10 entries and Gardner says it looks like this year’s show will be just about the same.
Curtain time for Stars of Tomorrow is this Sunday, March 13, at 3:00 in the Chadron High School auditorium.
