The Chadron State College softball team is set to host the RMAC leading MSU-Denver Roadrunners on Saturday and Sunday.

First pitch scheduled for 12 and 2 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m., and 1 p.m., on Sunday.
 
The Roadrunners are 19-5 overall and 12-0 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play, ranking them first. CSC is currently 5-17 overall and 5-7 in RMAC play, ranking them seventh.
 
After beginning the season 4-5, MSU-Denver has won 15 straight games, including sweeps over RMAC foes N.M. Highlands, Black Hills State and most recently, Regis University.
 
Returning second team all-region selection Shelby Robb leads the Roadrunners offensively. She is one of five players with a batting average over .400, hitting .486. Robb has a team high of 23 runs, 34 hits and 11 doubles in 70 at bats.
 
While Robb leads MSU-Denver in nearly every statistical category, she is second on the team with 23 RBIs. Hannah DiFablo, who bats .400, has a team high 24 RBIs and six homers.
 
Defensively, Jenna Medhus leads the Roadrunners pitching rotation with an ERA of 1.73 and a record of 5-0. Cheyenne Prieto and Natalie Romero each have ERAs of 2.74 and 3.53, respectively, while being a combined 8-2 on the year.
 
A year ago, CSC fell in the series against MSU-Denver 3-1.
