Juanita Mae Two Crow-Scherich was born on May 9, 1959 in Pine Ridge, SD to Janet Two Crow-Larrabee. Jaunita made her journey to the Spirit World on July 2, 2024 at her home in Kyle, SD.

Juanita is survived by her spouse, Lester Kills Straight of Kyle, SD; daughters, Stephanie A. Two Crow of Kyle, SD and Alisia Quevedo of Omaha, NE; sons, Jeren (Amber) Two Crow and Louis (Rose) McBride III both of Kyle, SD, Tyrone Red Blanket of Rapid City, SD, and Jeremy & Juan Quevedo of Omaha, NE; grandmother, Maryann Meester of Mesquite, NV; siblings, Harlan Scherich of Rapid City, SD, Linda Scherich of Wisconsin, Randolph Two Crow, Jr. of Bismarck, ND, and DeAnna Two Crow-Paulson of Piedmont, SD; grandchildren, Daniel McBride, Louis McBride IV, Princess McBride, Judson Two Crow, Ava Two Crow, Kaylee Jo Two Crow, Beautiful Faith McBride, Carlos, Tino, Estevon, Annicia, and Keanu Quevedo, Lilly Lynn and Teelan Sunny Red Blanket, and Tristan and Chandler Two Crow; uncle, Cicero Two Crow; hunka brother, Jon Whirlwind Horse; and hunka sisters, Valerie Janis, Cordelia White Elk, Karen Red Star, and Darla Black.

Juanita was preceded in death by her mother, Janet Two Crow-Larabee; children, Julian McBride, Christina McBride, and Baby McBride; aunts, Dorothy He Crow and Wanda Two Crow; uncles, Randolph Two Crow, Sr., Daryl Two Crow, Sr., Lyle Two Crow, Duane Two Crow, and Victor Two Crow; maternal grandparents, Anna Chief Eagle-Two Crow and Judson Two Crow; grandchildren, Xylys Two Crow, Samantha Rose Wilcox, Justin Wilcox, Soledad and Mara McBride; and hunka sister, Donna Garnette.

Pallbearers will be Art Red Owl, Sr., Jon Whirlwind Horse, Friday Garnette, Taylor White Dress,
Tyrell Pierce, Tanner Pierce, Sage Brings Plenty, Jess Heart, Andrew Iron Shell, and Steve
Hernandez.

Honorary pallbearers will be all friends & relatives.

A two night wake service for Juanita Mae Two Crow-Scherich starts at 7 on Wednesday, July 10, at the Powwow Grounds in Kyle, SD. Second night begins at 10 AM on Thursday at Our Lady of Sorrows in Kyle, SD.

Funeral Service will take place on Friday at 10 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows with traditional Lakota Services by Steve Dubray. Burial is at St. Barnabas Episcopal Cemetery
