The Nebraska State Fair 1868 Foundation is raising funds to enhance the Fair through a truck raffle. The truck is a 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 Pro in Summit White and includes a 5.3L V8 Engine, EZ Lift Power Lock and Release Tailgate, Trailering Package, LED Cargo Bed Lighting, All-Terrain Tires, and 17” 6-Spoke Bright Silver Painted Aluminum Wheels, to name a few of the features.
Tickets are available now until September 1, when the winner will be drawn September 2, 2024, at the Nebraska State Fair.
“Last year the lucky winner, Jenny Leva, a Grand Island resident, purchased just one ticket,” said Lindsey Koepke, Executive Director. “She wanted to win the truck for her partner, and she won. It was a heartwarming moment to hand over the keys to her, knowing her life was changed at the Nebraska State Fair.”
“We look forward to seeing the raffle ticket sales soar in an effort to support your Nebraska State Fair,” said Terry Galloway, Chairman of the 1868 Foundation Board. “This is not only an exciting program to implement at the Fair but, more importantly, it’s another great revenue source for the Foundation to fund projects that are important to the continued success of the Fair.”
Tickets are $25 per entry and can be purchased on the 1868 Foundation website 1868foundation.org. Tickets can be also purchased at the 1868 Foundation Gift Shop during the Fair.
