Clint Eugene Martinez was born on November 11, 1976 in Hot Springs, SD to Ronald Martinez and Frances Young. Clint made his journey to the Spirit World on July 28, 2024 at the Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City, SD.

Clint is survived by his son, Gage White; daughters, BriAnne Hamaker and Cassie Martinez; Fiancรฉ, Kelly Hammond; mother, Francis (Tiny) Young; stepfather, Eddie Clifford; siblings, Wanda Luth, Cathy Means-Wipf, Marsha Modec, Patric Means, Gloria Lane, Lonnie Martinez, Joey Martinez, Nicole Martinez and Sissy Rose Martinez; and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Clint was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Dean Martinez; brother, Bruce Leroy Martinez; and a few aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Clint was the youngest of 9 children. As he grew older, he was always sweet and loveable. He went to elementary school in Hot Springs, SD and started middle school at Hot Springs Middle School and finished the second half of middle school in North Junior High in Rapid City, SD. He played soccer, wrestled and played football in middle school. Clint always wanted to hang out with the older kids. He finished his education at Nemo Job Corps in Nemo, SD graduating with a diploma. Eventually, he moved back to Hot Springs, SD. As an adult, Clint loved to shoot pool; he has won his fair share of tournaments and even 9 ball tournaments. They said he was one of the best in town. He liked to play darts, loved cookouts and hanging out with friends. Clint was always very social. He loved to laugh and was always ready to help when anyone needed him.

Clint would never say โ€œgood byeโ€, it was always โ€œlater/laterโ€ because good bye was too final.

Honorary pallbearers will be all friends and family.

Visitation for Clint Martinez will be held from 11 to 1 on Saturday August 3 at the Chamberlain-McColleyโ€™s Funeral Home in Hot Springs, SD with a luncheon to follow at the American Legion in Hot Springs.

Cremation is to follow services.
