Darlyne is survived by children, Corby (Brewer) Shangreau, Dean Brewer, Michelle (Brewer) Conroy, and Barton Brewer; brother, Robert Matthews; sister, Darla Swain; sisters-in-law, Sue Sigman and Ute Matthews; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Darlyne was preceded in death by parents, Gilbert, Sr. and Evelyn (Ecoffey) Matthews; biological father, Stanley Sigman; spouse, William “Hodge” Clements; siblings, Gilbert “Butch” Matthews, Jr., Marirose Matthews-Morris, Michelle “Micky” Matthews, and Daryl Matthews; grandchildren, Jamie Brewer and Derek Brewer; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Rose (Nelson) Ecoffey; and sister-in-law, Ilona Matthews.
Pallbearers will be Dan Morris, Pat Morris, Michael Morris, Daryl Wolfblack, Robert Fire Thunder, and Carly Shangreau.
Honorary pallbearers will be Sacred Heart Catholic Church Parishioners, Oglala Sioux Lakota Nursing Home Staff and Residence, I.H.S Hospital Staff, and All Family and Friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Darlyne Waneta Clements will be at 10 on Friday August 16 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD with Father Brad Held officiating.
Vigil Services will be held from 3-10 on Thursday August 15 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Vigil Services with Rosary at 6.
