Ingrid Faye (Stands) One Feather was born on April 17, 1952 in Pine Ridge, SD to Paul Lee Stands and Lucille (Little) Fire Thunder.ย  Ingrid made her journey to the Spirit World on September 15, 2024 at the Pine Ridge I.H.S. Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD.

Ingrid is survived by her children, Dean (Margaret) Good Buffalo, Shawn Good Buffalo, Tonia Stands, Brian Good Buffalo, Keith One Feather, Craig, Sandy, Monica, Jerrica, and Anpo One Feather, and Alixandra Beechum; sisters, Leah Fire Thunder and Luci Fire Thunder; brothers, Raymond Stands, A.V. Fire Thunder, and Renfred Good Lance; hunka sisters, Corrine Brave, Sandy Two Lance, Jean Belt, and Katherine Looking Elk; hunka brother, Ivis Long Visitor; grandchildren, Charmaine Hernandez, Pauleana Good Buffalo, Chance Good Buffalo, Mareah Good Buffalo, Reese Good Buffalo, Zaeda Stands, Zahannez Stands, Tokala Luta Win Stands, Samuel Stands, Beau Good Buffalo, Briley Good Buffalo, Ceana Good Buffalo, Oscar Good Buffalo, and Brian Good Buffalo, Jr.; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, & cousins. 

Ingrid was preceded in death by her spouse, Gerald One Feather; parents, Paul Lee Stands and Lucille (Little) Fire Thunder; sisters, Shirley Pumpkin Seed, Lita Running Hawk, and Emily Stands; brothers, Filmore โ€œFestesโ€ Stands, Francis Good Lance, Burnell Stands, and Harlan โ€œBlucheโ€ Fire Thunder, Jr.; grandsons, Nathaniel Good Buffalo and Kelsey Good Lance; paternal grandparents, Samuel Stands and Lucy (Dreaming Bear) Stands; and maternal grandparents, Amos Little and Emma No Water.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Pipe On Head, Gentry Ribitsch, Vincent โ€œWoodzy” Two Lance, Wilson Two Lance, Richie Palmier, BJ Brings Him Back, Aaron Brings Him Back, and Richie Saucedo. 

Honorary pallbearers will be all Tokala & Tokala Win Members, and all Friends & Relatives.

Wake Services: One night wake service starting at 1:30 PM, Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM.

Funeral Services: 10:00 AM, Monday, September 30, 2024 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD.

Traditional Lakota Services: Richard Broken Nose

Burial Services: One Feather Family Cemetery, Oglala, SD
