Registration Open for Omaha Women’s Health and Wellness Conference

The 27th annual Omaha Women’s Health and Wellness Conference will be held Oct. 25 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Scott Conference Center in Aksarben Village, 6450 Pine St.

This year’s conference will feature main sessions on social media influence and separating fact from fiction in adult ADHD.

Other sessions will offer insight into topics such as the effects of opioids, young women’s health concerns, myofascial release in pain relief, intuitive eating, menopause and promoting positive behavior in school-aged children.

Several health and educational exhibits will be available during a morning health fair. Attendees can register for blood work and flu shots with an additional fee.

The conference is hosted by the Olson Center for Women’s Health, the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Nebraska Medicine.

Continuing education will be provided for nurses and social workers. Registration, which includes lectures, lunch and refreshments, is $75 for the general public and $110 for nurses and social workers.
