The Denver Broncos wrapped up their two game east coast trip Sunday at a rainy Meadowlands taking on the New York Jets. The Broncos brought home the win 10-9 to go 2-0 on the trip.

The Broncos got out of the gate sluggish as they were held scoreless in the first half getting only 30 yards of offense in the first half. The Jets did not fare much better, only getting 95 yards of total offense but led 6-0 at the half with two field goals from Gregg Zuerlein from 35 and 23 yards out.

The second half was much different for the Broncos as they got the offense rolling with 136 yards in the second half. Bo Nix threw his first career touchdown pass with an eight yard dart to Courtland Sutton from eight yards out to give the Broncos a 7-6 lead which was the score after three quarters.

The fourth quarter was very dramatic as Zuerlein opened up the scoring with a 40 yard field goal two minutes into the quarter. Then Will Lutz put the Broncos back on top with a 47 yard kick on the next drive. The teams traded punts and Lutz missed a 50 yard field goal which would have made the Jets need a touchdown to win. The Jets drove 28 yards setting up Zuerlein for a possible game winning 50 yard field goal and he missed, giving the Broncos the 10-9 win.

Bo Nix was 12/25 with 60 yards and a touchdown, Javonte Williams had 16 carries for 77 yards for the Broncos. The Broncos finished 186 yards of offense.

Aaron Rodgers for the Jets was 24/42 passing with 225 yards as the Jets finished 248 yards of offense.

The Broncos are now 2-2 and return home to face the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday with a kickoff in the 2pm window.
